Even though I don't plan on using flowers other than black, blue or white, I set up the process for getting green mums while I wait for a blue rose to be bred. It... seems I got a bit lucky...
The yellow mums on the left, 'hybrid' offspring from red and yellow mums have a 1/64 chance of producing a green offspring. I completely skipped the last step.

Not shown was the aftermath of me fulfilling his request of a saltwater fish, he stood there for a solid minute smiling at me. This was after I caught him sleeping, waking him up and him immediately going back to sleep, prompting me to wake him up again. I love Kid Cat.
